 | Il Duca pipes are the work of master craftsman Massimiliano "Max" Rimensi. Max's love of pipes began in 1990 and has continued to grow ever since. After sourcing the necessary materials for pipe making, Max began working with his carpenter uncle. Massimiliano uses unique materials such as aged briar, morta, black bamboo, boxwood, and horn sourced from across Italy in his expertly designed and artistically designed Il Duca pipes to create modern masterpieces for pipe enthusiasts. Il Duca pipes are categorized as Barone (usually sandblasted), Conte (smoothly polished pieces), and Duca (polished pipes with a perfect texture). |
