 | Lasse Skovgaard Jørgensen is one of Denmark's youngest pipemakers. Born in 1984, Lasse has been making pipes since he was 16. Considering his father is Benni Jørgensen, one of the renowned pipemakers at WO Larsen, it's clear this isn't a coincidence. Initially working on small projects like repairs and tampers, Lasse began producing something smokeable after, in his own words, his first 100 pipe attempts. In 2020, Lasse began producing a new series called By Skovgaard. The pipes in this series are both more affordable and handmade. However, they are faster to produce than the series bearing Lasse's name and use pre-made acrylic mouthpieces. |
