 | In 1949, Sebastiano Romeo founded the largest pipe factory in Calabria in Marina di San Lorenzo. Sebastiano's son, Fabrizio, began his work in his father's company at a very young age. Growing up in direct contact with the world of briar, he learned to recognize the finest roots and the best cuts. Upon his father's retirement in 1988, Fabrizio Romeo took over the family business and began producing pipe products for collectors, keeping production very limited and using primarily Calabrian roots. Today, Fabrizio Romeo remains one of Italy's most respected pipemakers. |
