 | Born in Bulgaria, Kolyo Demirev lives in the Czech Republic and has been pursuing his beloved pipe-making hobby as a pipe craftsman since 2012. Originally an electrical technician, Kolyo Demirev describes the first time he made a pipe in his workshop in Pag, opened with a close friend, as "the work I want to do for the rest of my life." All of Demirev's pipes are handmade, and he finishes them with Carnauba wax and always uses German-made ebonite for the mouthpieces. He personally selects the stems he uses in his pipes from Italy and Spain. |
