George Boyadjiev has been smoking a pipe since he was 16. While this may seem like a young age for some, it demonstrates George's long-standing appreciation for this functional object. Over the years, George yearned to make this beloved functional object himself, and one day, he acquired a pipe kit from American pipemaker Mark Tinsky. His passion for pipes gave way to a passion for briar, and he found himself in a vast workshop surrounded by lathes, sanding wheels, polishing machines, and drill bits. Thus, the George Boyadjiev brand was born. All of the Bulgarian master's pipes are handcrafted, and he grades them A, B, and so on, with AA being the highest.
